Emergency Support Programs for local Businesses and Nonprofits


Emergency Micro Loan Program for Small Businesses – Provides up to $3,000 of forgivable funds at 0% with no payments for 12 months to small businesses in Brooklyn Center. Applications will begin being accepted on Friday, May 15 and will be accepted on a rolling basis until the $150,000 pool of funds are gone. The application is available starting May 15.


Emergency Support Program for Non-Profits – Provides up to $3,000 of grant funds to non-profits or charitable organizations providing direct emergency resources to Brooklyn Center residents, such as assistance with food, shelter, and other critical life or safety needs. Religious organizations are eligible to apply as well. Applications are due May 25. The program description and application form are attached. The application form and information about the program is available starting Friday, May 15.
