The Civil War without Proper Names, Dates and Battles

The focus of this presentation is on photography (then and now), maps, inventions, reenacting (living history), genealogy, etc. Gary Blessman, a resident of Crystal since 2001, discovered the discharge papers of his gr-gr-grandfather from the 126th Ill. Inf. and began researching his ancestor’s regimental history. He has self-published two regimental histories and has spoken on the Civil War to audiences such as MENSA, Sr. Adult church groups, public schools and historical societies. Register by September 14.
