City of Brooklyn Center to Host
Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan Meeting

The City of Brooklyn Center is developing an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition Plan for Public Rights of-Way. A public comment period will be held from April 1 to April 30. Those interested persons, including individuals with disabilities or organizations representing individuals with disabilities are requested to participate in the development of this transition plan.
A public meeting for the transition plan will be held today April 25, from 5:30 to 6:30pm, at the City of Brooklyn Center Council Chambers, located at 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN, 55430. Another public meeting for the transition plan will be held on April 27, from 10 to 11am, at the City of Brooklyn Center Council Chambers, located at 6301 Shingle Creek Parkway, Brooklyn Center, MN 55430 to solicit comments from the public.
Comments and Plan Recommendations: The draft ADA Transition Plan program documents are available for public review in the Engineering Division at City Hall between 8am and 4:30pm. The draft plan can be reviewed online and survey can be filled out at cityofbrooklyncenter.org/ADA.
